Viewing the Race
Public event pages
Every event in PunchMonkey has a public page that anyone can view — no login required. Scans are posted to the server in real time as participants tap tags on the course, so spectators and remote followers can watch progress as it happens.
To find an event, visit Ongoing Events or Past Events from the home page. Click an event name to open its public page.
What's on the event page
The event public page shows all races in the event. For each race you'll see:
- Leaderboard — teams ranked by how many checkpoints they've completed, with time on course as the tiebreaker. Updates live as scans arrive.
- Leg Summary links — for multi-leg races, each leg has its own summary page showing teams ranked by leg performance.
- Recent Activity — a live feed of the latest checkpoint scans across all teams, showing who scanned what and when.
Sharing the event link
The public event URL looks like /events/public/{event-id}. Share this link with spectators, remote followers, or anyone who wants to watch — they don't need an account or the app.
Race directors can find the public link from the event management page.
